Talk this way.
We’ve told you from the beginning, this is a collaborative project. We believe the best products are created when we work together, and now’s your chance to weigh in!
Feedback is a two-way street, so to make sure we are on the same path, we want to share the ins and outs, ups and downs, of the feedback process.
If you’re reading this, you are starting your first round of feedback and revisions. As a reminder, all of our projects come with 2 rounds of feedback/revisions. Through effective, honest, and comprehensive communication, there is rarely a need for more than 2 rounds, but just in case, as a reminder- additional rounds of revisions are billed at $150/hour with a minimum of 3 hours billed each time. But let’s not have that happen, so here’s what’s up:
WE LOVE A LIST
Bulleted lists are the best way to send over your feedback. And we also don’t mind a long list. It’s way better (and more efficient) to get one massive (if needed) list rather than a bajillion tiny little “oh, and this”s.
MERRY WITH MORE.
They say the more the merrier, but that’s not really what we’re saying. We are saying MORE is fine! We aren’t afraid to tackle a long list, so you shouldn’t be hesitant. This is your baby, and you’ve got 2 shots to get it exactly right, so don’t be shy
OUT OF BOUNDS
Everything we design has a reason, so in defense of good design, there are a few things that will be out of bounds as far as feedback goes. These things, we believe, are the anchors of the design, impactful, and have a great reason and place. We will have discussed these items beforehand, but we will also remind you of anything out of bounds in regards to feedback.
